Faculty Mentor Meetings

The role of the Faculty Mentor is to provide guidance toward developing creative leadership in the field of neurodevelopmental and related disabilities. The Faculty Mentor seeks to empower, challenge and inspire LEND Fellows in assisting them to define their goals. Each LEND Fellow has an assigned Faculty member to serve as their Mentor; however, all Faculty are available for Fellows to contact for questions and insights. There are four scheduled Faculty Mentor-Mentee meetings, two per semester, generally held in groups of two or three Fellows. Additional meetings may be available as determined by the Faculty Mentor. These meetings provide an opportunity to consider the Maternal & Child Health Bureau (MCHB) Leadership Competencies upon which the LEND program is organized.
